I spent last Sunday night ransacking my (new) apartment, searching for a letter that I know I kept somewhere safe. The problem is, I've moved so many times.... It was pen and colored pencil. One image was a wind in NZ blowing letters past a postbox. I found postcards, other letters, envelopes, even warm fuzzies from summers past. But not that one letter, which has taken on mythical proportions of importance in my brain. It's come to symbolize all that could have been, has been lost, friendship that can be rekindled, if only I could find it. So today I sent a letter to Elmira, hoping it'd find it's way to you. And then, I found you here. I love your tree.
I'm in Seattle, at Anna Bellersen 6522 Phinney Ave N Apt 301 Seattle, WA 98103. Of course, I'm also at abellersen@yahoo.de Schreib mal was? Anna/Jutta
note to anna: your letter made it to elmira yesterday. i'll forward it to aara in ithaca on monday along with the easter basket things i'm going to pick up downtown in a few minutes (don't tell her about those -- it's a surprise). -- aara's mom.
All images copyright Aara Edwards. Most of the work here is available for purchase. Contact me about sales or commisions. Born in tiny Lomond, Alberta, I grew up in small town Southern Ontario. After six of the best four years of my life getting a BA in linguistics at Harvard College, I'm working as a freelance violist/bassist and painter in Ithaca, NY. Traveling the world, working as a canoe guide in Northern Minnesota, and architecture school have been known to distract me once in a while. You can also contact me about music gigs in the Southern Tier of the Finger Lakes Region -- my string quartet will be happy to fulfill your every musical need! -AE aara@post.harvard.edu

I <3 foil! I totally forgot how much I <3 foil! Why didn't we think of this for the triptych??
But the triptych sounds wonderful, nevertheless...I CAN'T WAIT!! =)
