Ink, 22"x36"
I have a lot of trouble deciding why way is "up". I highly recommend rotating your screen (especially simple if you have a laptop) and deciding for yourself which you like best. When I sell paintings, I sometimes attach four hangers, one on each side, just to make sure the buyer knows that they have a choice -- the display orientation just seemed like a good idea at the time. -AE

Pencil guidelines, then freehand, too. I impress myself, sometimes, too... It's all about good paper, though -- that's the trick.
